The ISM is the UK’s professional body for musicians and a subject association for music. They support over 11,000 members, including peripatetic, private and classroom music teachers, with a unique set of professional services. Membership includes one-to-one legal advice and representation, unpaid fees recovery, essential insurances, useful resources, a DBS checking service, awardwinning professional development, enhanced professional status, and much more. The ISM is politically and financially independent, allowing them the freedom to campaign on any issue affecting musicians and music education.
