Started in 2024 The Clarion Trio brings together 3 talented disabled musicians, who met through the National Open Youth Orchestra, around the sound of a new instrument The Clarion. Oscar (piano) and Georgina (french horn) are part of the NOYO concert ensemble in 2025, whilst Alessandro (clarion) at 27 has moved on to play with the Alton Concert Orchestra.

Oscar studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Georgina is a member of Drake Music’s Future Leaders programme and the Royal Ballet and Opera’s Overture Scheme, and Alessandro champions The Clarion working with Open Up Music, ABRSM and the Harrison Parrott Foundation. All 3 pieces that will be played were composed through the ABRSM Composer Mentoring scheme for the Clarion started 3 years ago.
