Catherine is autistic/dyslexic. Catherine joined The National Autistic Society in 2014 then worked for Ambitious about Autism from 2021, focussing on autism-affirming support for children and young people. Catherine founded Aûtentic and empowers organisations to be autism-affirming and has most recently worked with Theatre Clwyd and The BFI. Catherine is parent to an autistic/dyspraxic adult.
