Barbara Eifler is the chief executive of Making Music, the UK association for leisure-time music. Its 4,000 members (vocal and instrumental groups) comprise around 220,000 hobby musicians. Barbara played the piano as a child, is now working through ABRSM singing grades and plays cornet in the Crystal Palace Band.
