Alex has played drums for over 50 years. In 2009, following a long and varied career which saw him playing in and leading bands all around the world, Alex added ‘Music Educator’ to his musical portfolio career. During this time, Alex taught and managed teams of teachers for a number of music and performing arts schools and colleges in both Instrumental and vocational qualifications from Level 1 to Level 6. Alex completed his Professional Certificate in Education (PCE) in 2015 through the University of Greenwich, receiving the Garnett Undergraduate Award for Outstanding Achievement. As Head of Operations for Rockschool Limited, Alex’s time now is spent working with Music and Performing Arts teachers, Schools and other delivery partners to provide Teacher Training and Development packages and strategies for business growth.
