Music teachers are increasingly charged with creating ambitious, surprising, unexpected musical collaborations: for beginner and experienced players; using electric and acoustic, Western and non-Western instrumentation; and for a variety of ensembles. It can be difficult to find music that is flexible enough for these increasingly eclectic groups – but ABRSM has a solution for teachers and hubs.
Join Lincoln Abbotts for an interactive workshop using Group Loops, a free, new resource for schools from ABRSM. The resource will generate parts for your mixed ability music class, and find new music that you can play on any instrument as part of an ensemble. Lincoln will workshop the music live with a group of young musicians, demonstrating creative ways to inspire and develop performing, ensemble and communication skills at all levels, in any combination.
