Vocal Tai Chi

Through hearing and sounding Vocal Tai Chi opens the voice to four colour placements of the human instrument: basement, ground, mezzanine and attic. Traditional Tai Chi is used in conjunction with this colour range, while connecting to a steady central pitch. The voice uses this palette to build improvised melodic journeys and enter pathways of imagination. As the voice opens, finds definition and strength, so do you. VTC acts as a measure and embodiment of different states within, from simple sensations to the presence of spirit. Vocal challenges are there for all, yes, but they act as doors to creation.
