Open Up Music

Come play the Clarion, an award-winning musical instrument you can try for free on iPad and PC starting in September. Expressive like traditional instruments but highly accessible, it's already the instrument of choice for thousands of young disabled musicians in Open Orchestras—the UK’s largest community of inclusive ensembles in special schools—and the National Open Youth Orchestra. The first electronic instrument assessed by ABRSM, the Clarion also opens music-making to pupils who don’t read music and supports therapeutic self-expression.
